Enjoy the Jack-Sun Eclipse & Shine Bright Today!

I wanted to remind everyone that the solar eclipse can be just as harmful to our dogs' eyes as it is to ours. While you're out enjoying the view, please keep your pups indoors. If you can't do that or would like them to be outside with you, make sure they have solar eye covers, a hat, or a visor.

Dogs don't naturally look up at the eclipse and may not be interested, but they may glance up if their humans are excited and pointing up and not paying attention to our dogs, risking eye damage. Unlike us, they can't tell us if their eyesight has been affected later in the day.

So please, be mindful and consider keeping them indoors during the event or take steps to protect their eyes. Stay safe and enjoy this historic eclipse!
