This festive fall event brings together local dog lovers for a Halloween parade, costume contest, food trucks, live music, vendors, and sweet treats—all to support Jackson, Michigan’s small businesses and pet-friendly initiatives. It’s also Dog Behaviorist Brandy’s chance to reconnect with the incredible dogs and families she’s helped over the years and to celebrate your hard work, growth, and dedication. 🖌 Special Event: We’re wrapping up the season with a creative twist! After our pack walk, stick around for Pups & Paints—a playful art session where humans and dogs team up to create messy masterpieces. Expect paw prints, splashes of color, and plenty of laughter. We’ll provide all the supplies—you just bring your pup, your creativity, and the good vibes.
🎨 Tip: Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!
🐶 Rules: All dogs must remain on leash during the event.
🌈 Take Home: We’ll be creating a large group masterpiece for everyone to contribute to and enjoy.
🎁 Want your own? You can pre-order a personal canvas in advance, and we’ll have it ready for you to create alongside the group piece.
🌦 Rain or Shine: The Pack Walk will go on unless unsafe weather conditions arise.

You can book a private session at Brandy’s home, where you and your dog can safely contribute to the group masterpiece—without participating in the full pack walk or large group setting. This way, you can still be part of the fun, at your own pace and comfort level.

The Jackson County Animal Shelter's annual fundraiser Jackson's Bark & Brew!!
A Michigan beer and wine tasting event at Ella Sharp Museum in the Grand Community Room from 1:00pm to 4:00pm Saturday, May 17th.
We will have live music, local food trucks, photo opportunities, a K9 Unit, an Animal Control Officer, a silent auction, a western themed best dressed pet, and more!!
